The Parent-Children Syndrome

The relationships that we form in our lives are a direct reflection of our relationship with our parents as small children.
According to Louise Hay, as 5 year-old children we develop strong mental and emotional patterns about ourselves and our world. We end up believing these patterns as the truth in our lives. We then identify them repeatedly as we grow into adults and end up manifesting them in every relationship that we seek to establish.
Now,sample this.

How many of you have had a friend who irritates you just like your mother? How many of you have a boss who is demanding just like your father? How many of you have had a lover who resembles your favorite self?It is all your developed pattern that is manifesting as reality in your life.It is about your choices and the belief in those choices that is creating your present reality.
No, I do not for a moment here blame our parents and family for this. We usually blame our parents and say “You did it to me”.Please understand and acknowledge that our parents were doing the best which they could possibly do.Realize that our parents too are actually victims of the very system we disapprove. In essence, we are all victims of victims. But herein lies an opportunity and a choice to free ourselves from these limiting beliefs.
Is it possible?
The good news is that this is definitely possible and it is very easy to make this work.Everyone suffers from self-hatred and guilt. The bottom line for everyone is “I am not good enough.”It is only a thought and a thought can be changed. All that we are ever dealing with in our lives is just a thought and a thought can be changed. We can choose to take full responsibility for all of our experiences. We are then taking our power back. The point of power is always in the present moment. Please do not ever criticize yourself for all that you are right now. You have been and are doing the best with whatever you believe is the best for you.Self-approval and self-acceptance in the now are the keys to positive changes.
My dear friend, when we really love ourselves everything in our lives work.So what are you waiting for? Start loving yourself right now.We have no time to waste.Lets get started!
